Great British Bake Off shows us that talented people are among us

Why do we find the Great British Bake Off inspirational?
One thing that we have discovered, since we started finding local people who want to sell their home-cooked food to people in their neighbourhoods, is that talent is everywhere. We are fortunate enough to have experienced – first-hand – the sheer amount of talent that people from all backgrounds, professions and locations have when it comes to cooking food.
This concept is showcased, each year, on our TV’s – on the Great British Bake Off.
Every year, new contestants are filtered through and the lucky 12 that end up on the programme do a great job of showcasing the home-grown talent that so many people possess. In 2022’s show, we were able to witness Syabira’s incredible flavour combinations, Sandro’s consistently beautiful bakes and Abdul’s charming creations.
The Great British Bake Off, and more so its contestants, do a really great job of displaying how skilled people can be at producing different food-based creations. They display their skills that have been developed – not in restaurants or professional kitchens – but in their own homes!
But why is that so important?
So many incredibly talented people that are skilled enough to get on the Great British Bake Off don’t end up on the show. For some, this could spell another year of not having a platform to enjoy the pleasures of baking. A passionate baker may not bake as much as they would like to, simply because they don’t have the money, don’t have the time, don’t have the tools – but we have found a way to bring baking back to life!
How we can help bring baking back in to your life...

Are you someone who loves to cook in your spare time? Have you ever thought about selling your creations? All About The Cooks might just be the answer you were looking for.
We provide a platform for home-cooks, like you, to sell your food to your local neighbourhood (without the ridiculously high commission rates that some food service platforms have).
On top of this, you actually get to meet the people that purchase your food, whether that is through a pre-arranged collection or delivery. Creating a connection between you and your customers is something that we really value – and something that is becoming more and more important these days!
We are currently offering all new cooks 0% commission for their first two months of selling food, so there’s no better time to register your interest.
If you have ever fancied yourself to be the next Great British Bake Off champion, or if you just thrive off of seeing others enjoy the food you’ve made, then get in touch!
