Unlike food that is sold on unregulated marketplaces, if you’re buying home-cooked food from us, you can trust that it is not only delicious but also safe to eat!
In order to sell home-cooked food to neighbours through All About The Cooks, each of our cooks is required to go through the same food safety checks as a restaurant.
Requirements from our cooks
When you buy from All About The Cooks you can rest-assured that food hygiene is a priority.
All home-cooks selling food on our platform have to:
1. Register as a home-cook with their local council
2. Once inspected, achieve at least a 4 star food hygiene rating.
3. Pass the industry-standard food hygiene certification (Level 2)
Our cooks will indicate on their menu which of the key allergens are present in each dish, and you can specify any other dietary requirements or preferences with the cooks themselves.
