Probably the most iconic of all Portuguese pastry. The pastel de nata is crispy puff pastry filled with a creamy custard, baked for a short period in a very hot oven. It’s taken me quite some time to find the right recipe and the right moulds, which I ordered from a family business in Portugal. I’m very excited to be adding pastel de nata to my range and hope you will enjoy them.
