description

Tart and tangy Bramley apples, lightly stewed in sugar and cloves, then encased and baked in a beautifully, flaky, slightly sweet pastry. This is the same pastry as the cherry pie but with diced apples. I can make it without cloves and can add other spices if preferred. Perfect any time of day but also delicious as an after dinner dessert with custard or double cream.
