A really buttery and flaky, homemade, organic pastry filled with fresh seasonal cherries, or frozen when out of season. The cherries cook to release a natural sauce which keeps the pie nice and juicy, yet with a lovely crisp flaky top.
You can have this as a stand alone pie or order it with homemade custard, made using organic egg yolks and free range, British cream. I’ve balanced the sweetness of the pie so you can enjoy it as a cheeky breakfast, as well as an afternoon snack or evening pudding. It works well for every occasion. Serve with custard for extra decadence or double cream as a classic go to.
