all about meHello, my name is Valeria, and ever since I was a little girl I have been extremely passionate about food. I am a curious person who loves learning different skills and trying new things. I am a Napolitan (southern Italian) but moved to Bath in January 2013 with my other half and my daughter, and we now have a son too. I have been a food blogger, photographer and author for more than 10 years now. Some of my recipes have been published for a series of recipe books by an Italian publishing house, Feltrinelli. I have also collaborated with the online magazine "MAG About Food" for 3 years, as member of the editorial board.
about my foodI would like to share some real Italian traditions with you, something you could experience just like an Italian would do. One of my favourite Italian food traditions is the aperitivo. The aperitivo is a light meal, consumed at the end of a workday, as a kind of warm up to dinner. Always served with a drink, light and bitter, to better pair with savoury nibbles. It is not supposed to replace dinner (Italians eat a lot!), but it can and it will if you leave it with me. Another passion of mine is baking, and I would like to share some of my favourite Italian desserts with you.
