My life is a fusion of my Mauritian roots and my adopted home in Bath. I was born on the beautiful island of Mauritius. Growing up, I was greatly influenced by my mother and grandmothers, who imparted their deep knowledge and passion for cooking. At 19, I married and moved to Bath, which is where I have called home ever since. Having had a 20 year career as a cashier in a bank, I made the decision to semi-retire to spend more quality time with my loved ones. My deepest passion is cooking - It has been a life long ambition to start a cooking business and I am excited to start.

I love cooking different cuisines and I am a keen baker! But Mauritian food is my true passion. The aromas and flavours of traditional Mauritian cuisine take me back home and allow me to maintain a strong connection to my heritage. I love recreating dishes from my childhood and it has become a cherished tradition at family events. It’s wonderful to see my children have inherited this love for cooking, and they are passing it on to their children. For me, food means cultural connection, family bonds, and the joys of sharing love through cooking.
