Set up in November of 2020, I have been running Claremont Cakes as a home bakery business, supplying neighbours, cafes and private businesses with a personal baking service. I grew up in London and come from a family of chefs and, although being the youngest meant I was rarely the head chef in the household, I was chief tester! and quickly developed a sweet tooth most notably for my dads lemon tart, brownies and mince pies... I moved to Bristol to pursue music but food is in my blood, and keeping my parents recipes alive is so important to who I am. Through Claremont Cakes, I aim to be the head chef with Bristol as my chief tasters!

The mince pies are a family recipe and one held to secrecy. When it comes to Christmas it was hard to see people expressing how they 'don't like mice pies' when I know they haven't tried THESE mince pies. Baked to order and freshly prepared, my passion for all things sweet has lead me in previous years to supply Three Little Figs, Two Belly cheese & beer shop on Whiteladies Road, Coffee & Vinyl Cafe on Old Market Street, Future Leap Cafe on Gloucester Road and The Wave in Easter Compton. I create seasonal menu’s to get the tastebuds flowing but also take requests for those cravings that must be satisfied!

I ordered some mince pies from George for an early xmas family diner and they were a huge success. My mother-in-law loves mince pies so thought I'd treat her to homemade ones instead of the supermarket version that are pretty awful I find. I couldn't be bothered making some myself so really glad I heard about George just in time as they were absolutely delicious and it was really nice to get to meet him when he dropped them at our house.
