I'm from Bristol and I love this city. I've worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years, 10 of which I have worked as a private chef. Cooking is my therapy and there's nothing better than giving someone enjoyment using the wonderful produce we have available in the city.
all about my food
Of recent years I have had more of a focus on sustainability by using local, seasonal produce and only wild meats such as venison, rabbit etc. I like to provide a different experience that educates people, and shows them that they can make choices that are better for themselves, other people and the environment. I enjoy cooking anything from comfort food for a Friday night in, to 5 course dinner parties with friends or a larger group for special events such as weddings or birthday parties. I've cooked for many clients ranging from volunteering on Christmas for the homeless to celebrities and their fancy friends. I just simply love to cook whatever the occasion.

Sunday Lunch
We all really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch from Melissa yesterday. We had the chicken feast for 4 with an extra portion of beef and extra gravy. The meat was really delicious - good quality and very well-cooked. The portions were very generous too - we had lots of leftovers for bubble and squeak tonight. I also really liked the idea of 'reheat at home' which meant that we could just get everything ready in a leisurely way for when we wanted it, whilst I concentrated on the crumble and custard for pudding!
