I am from Spain, but my Argentinian partner inspired me to make these Argentinian treats! When my daughter was born, my partner's parents came to visit and as a gift, they gave me a box of alfajores. I loved them so much, so I started making them at home for my friends. When I saw how much people loved them, I thought, "why not sell them?." I used to cook with my grandma when I was a kid, and I have also been a chef in restaurants for 6 years. I moved to Bristol 5 years ago when I was 19 years old, to learn English and have a new experience - it turns out I am in love with the city and I don't ever want to leave!about my food
I cook alfajores, which are an Argentinian-style sandwich-cookie, and everyone loves them. I taught myself how to make them and have spent a while perfecting them. Great gift
I ordered some Alfajores as a gift for a friend. They come beautifully individually wrapped in a lovely box. I'd never had these biscuits before and now they are my favourite! I took them to France and we ate them a couple of days after collecting them from Iris and they were so fresh and lovely since she bakes them fresh to order. Thank you so much Iris! These biscuits are now my go-to gift for friends and family (but really a gift for myself).

Delicious Alfajores
We ordered some lemon alfajores to enjoy as a sweet treat during a team meeting, and what a treat they were. They were deliciously buttery and sweet with a creamy chocolate coating, and surprisingly bigger than they looked in the picture. I think they would make such a nice gift, as Iris had individually wrapped each one, and boxed them up beautifully. Will definitely be ordering again, thanks Iris!
