I've been working as a chef for over a decade, specialising in Spanish cuisine. Before starting Casa Verde, I was the Head Chef at the Michelin starred restaurant 'Paco Tapas'. I love cooking tapas. I think combining bold flavours in smaller portions can really push each dish to its maximum flavourI'm using plant-based ingredients, I believe this allows people to eat at less of a cost to the planet without having to compromise on great flavour.I want people to be able to enjoy a sharing tapas experience from the comfort of their own home.all about my food
The food I love to cook is a broad range of dishes I've come across in my 10 years of being a chef. I take a lot of my inspiration from Spanish cuisine but with Italian, Middle Eastern and Asian influences.All my dishes are plant-based but nothing is a replica of a 'real dish', I believe that these dishes are as good as their animal-product counterparts. It's time to start celebrating all the wonderful plant-based dishes available to us, whilst treading a little lighter on this planet.see more..

Having eaten at David's Casa Verde restaurant before the lock down and known how delicious and how beautifully presented his tapas was, I wasn't sure how he would recreate the same experience at home. But he has. The three courses of his menus are beautifully thought out and easy to prepare. This week, the gordal olives and guindillas peppers, butternut squash tortilla and sourdough were a perfect starter. The roasted celeriac cooked with seaweed and wild garlic, the spiced chickpea salad, and the kale with black olive tapenade made a delicious and satisfying main course and the lemon cheesecake with fresh berries was the perfect end to the tapas experience. I will certainly be coming back for more.

The tapas were delicious, especially the Pickled Fennel Salad and the Cheery Tomatoes with Baby Gem. Good tapas portions. Lovely touch to get the menu included with clear instructions. We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you very much.

Absolutely wonderful food. The best plant based menu I've tried, and I have tried a lot! There was a lovely mix of flavours and textures, and easy instructions for heating at home. Its clear that Dave is a chef who knows his stuff!

Lovely tapas, great flavours and variety, very fresh and seasonal. A really nice meal for two with leftovers for lunch the next day.

I absolutely loved this Tapas. The portions were generous (I always worry I'm going to hungry after Tapas!) and the flavours were great. I especially loved the Fennel Pernod and the Tortilla. Delivery was very punctual too which was much appreciated. I would certainly order again.
