I have always been an enthusiastic home cook and baker. From an early age I would bake for the family in my mother's kitchen, and after leaving home relished the challenge of good food on a budget, learning at an early age that the better the ingredients, the better the final outcome. From meals and parties for friends and family and catering fundraising events, I love being in the kitchen and orchestrating the magic that takes place between what goes in and what comes out and the logistic challenge of getting it all perfect just at the right moment and then sharing the pleasure with willing consumers!Some years ago a friend and neighbour handed me a small jar of what looked like slime and encouraged me to get baking with it ... I've been practising and discovering ever since. When I'm not in the kitchen I have a busy life as a commercial lawyer, aspiring Pilates instructor, beekeeper and open water swimmer. I'm also a keen gardener and like to make preserves and pickles with the produce glut.I believe all of this feeds me, mind, body and soul!all about my food
I bake slow-proved traditional bread made only from flour, salt and water in the same authentic way it has been made for centuries. Reputedly gentler on the stomach, sourdough loaves have a wonderful depth of flavour absent from speedy commercial bread, and once the glory of the day they are baked has passed, become the most irresistible toast ever tasted.see more..

Absolutely delicious :) Anne's sourdough cinnamon rolls and sourdough loaf was the perfect breakfast treat to enjoy with our friends who came to stay. It was wonderful collecting the warm, freshly baked goods and they were consumed very quickly. We also love that Anne uses compostable film wrapping! We will definitely order again soon :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my baked goods from Anne, far better than any shop/bakery bread I have had before. I ordered the sourdough and focaccia loaves, both of which were so fresh and delicious and also absolutely huge. The hot cross buns were, however, the star of the show. They were so excellent- the flavour and texture are unmatched to any other that I've tried before. Thank you Anne!

Absolutely delicious bread - thank you so much Anne! Delivered still warm fresh out the oven. We normally buy our sourdough from the veg shop in Clifton village (which is great) but Anne's bread is even better. Anne's seeded sourdough still managed to be super springy (often I find seeded loaves become a bit dense), and the taste was just perfect. Will definitely be ordering again and can't wait to try the buns and cinnamon swirls.

We ordered Anne's Hot cross buns - these were - by far - THE best buns we've had! The whole family agreed. Anne also accommodated my request for a seeded wholemeal sourdough bread which was lovely. We'll definitely order again and perhaps try the cinnamon rolls. Thanks again!

Thank you Anne, the hot, fresh cinnamon rolls were really delicious! The birthday boy was very pleased with his surprise breakfast (luckily he shared it!) and we're looking forward to polishing them off in the next couple of days.
