Tres leches cake


A sweet heavenly moist vanilla cake covered with whipped cream and a drizzle of vanilla syrup. This dessert originated in Mexico but is very popular all across Southamerica. It is similar in concept to tiramisu but has a very different flavour profile. 

It all starts with a vanilla sponge that once cooled is drenched in a luscious mixture of “tres leches” or three kinds of milk: Sweet condensed milk, evaporated milk and double cream. This is then left to rest to allow all those wonderful flavours to be absorbed. Finally, it’s all covered with a thin layer of whipped cream because, why not!

Different sizes available:

the standard is 8” round, serving 8-10 people 

10” serves around 16 peopl
