Plantain Slices

Plantain is a starchier, less sweet banana variety that needs to be cooked before eating. It looks like a big banana and I like to slice it and fry it in butter to bring out its natural sweetness and vibrant yellow colour. It accompanies most Jamaican savoury dishes very well.

Please order by Thursday at 1pm to collect from my home on Friday or Saturday between 5-7pm. Delivery by arrangement. Food can be ordered cold to reheat/cook at home or hot to eat straight away, please specify in order notes.
