A dish that is very close to my heart. I learned to make them with my dad and we would make them on special occasions to celebrate family and friendship. Light pastry filled with beef, olives and a slice of hard boiled eggs. It comes with chancho en piedra for 2 – a fresh sauce made specially to cool down the empanadas made with tomatoes, herbs and peppers. It can be eaten as a starter or as a main, depending on how hungry you are.
