I am a person who enjoys life and love exploring different ways to express my creativity - cooking is one of these areas. I have a background in architecture and hence I am always looking for creative opportunities, paying attention to details and beauty. I believe in having fun and love in all we do in life; these are two of the important ingredients for a good life experience. My passion for cooking has always been with me since I was a child. I was born and raised in Venezuela in the nest of an Italian family. Both culinary cultures are my palette of flavours - a combination of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean is inevitable when I put ingredients together.I have other interests that allow me to express my creativity, such as designing and refurbishing living spaces, pottery, writing and drawing and dancing and singing. I believe that cooking is a space where I can also share what I believe in - that everything in life is great and can enhance our spirit when it is done with love.I think eating is one of the most important experiences we have every day because it involves many aspects of our life - nutrition for our body and mental health and evoking feelings and memories. All of us should feel happy if we eat food that has been prepared with love and care. Eating is one of the most wonderful moments in our day whether we eat on our own or share the experience with others, it always should enhance our spirit. In South America we have a saying… “everything can be solved with an Empanada and Tequeños”Our food represents a piece of our culture in South America which was a Spanish colony for many years. Over time, Spanish colonists carried these dishes to Latin America. The Empanadas: (meaning "bread-wrapped") Throughout Latin America, you'll find many different kinds of dough used to make this delicious and versatile dish, with different fillings and cooking methods. The glory of this dish is that there is not a right or wrong way to cook it. Instead, you'll find that different regions and cultures prepare it in unique ways. Empanadas are one of the most versatile dishes out there, and they 're perfect way to impress your family and friends at your next gathering. I have chosen one of the healthiest methods of making them, with a light and flaky baked dough filled with different options to satisfy everyone. They are easy to eat on the go, suitable to eat at room temperature or warmed up and they can be stored in the fridge or the freezer. They are also a perfect snack in the middle of the afternoon at tea time or for children’s supper. We also specialise in the most popular party food in Venezuela - the famous cheese sticks called Tequeños. We usually say that without Tequeños, there is no party!
