Hiyaaaaaaa! I am Emilia, a gurt Bristolian through and through let’s just say my life pretty much revolves around food. You will already know this if you follow my foodie haven and passion @thefoodathand where I post daily food inspo, from local independent gems in Bristol to my own recipes and home cooking!

My love of cooking and baking definitely comes from my family, my dad is Gibraltarian and lives up to the typical Mediterranean stereotype, bestowing his food values onto me since a super young age. My dad taught me life revolves around food, happiness, social life, comfort, memories….. literally everything. However my Bristolian nan Christina really taught me how to cook & bake, pretty much starting from when I could stand up, nan would bake twice a week minimum, always a fresh Victoria sponge or fruit cake in the tin ready for any unexpected guests popping in for a cuppa! I spent a large part of my working life in the hospitality industry before moving into the creative industries. I can’t wait to share that happiness with you in the form of food.

My food is all about comfort, I cook and bake to make people happy, to see peoples eyes really brighten with that first bite of pleasure and almost disbelief with those positivity anticipated bites after. I can associate so many incredible memories back to meals and dishes, so I would love for you to associate yours with my food. Everything is available for collection or delivery on Saturday’s, I envision my food to really top off your Saturday brunch, dinner party, or Sunday roast surrounded by family.
